About Elijah

Developer, trader, and systems builder.

I like turning messy, multi-step processes into systems people can trust, operate, and improve.

From trading rules to event-driven systems.

I started by translating trading ideas into MQL systems. That led to Python, APIs, scheduled jobs, n8n, AI integrations, Discord moderation, Telegram routing, and operational dashboards.

I care about the connective tissue: how data enters, how decisions are structured, where humans approve, how failures are surfaced, and whether another person can operate the system after handoff.

Working principles

Make the process explicit.

Ambiguity becomes a workflow only after inputs, decisions, state, and outputs are named.

Test failure paths early.

Retries, duplicates, missing data, and rate limits are part of the product.

Document the handoff.

A system is not finished if only its builder can understand it.
